The BIG FOOT HEADCUTTER clamps to any gas powered chain saw in seconds transforming it into a giant vertical cutting Jigsaw. It is laterally angularly adjustable form vertical through 45° from vertical (75° upon request). It has a wide sturdy base plate which fully supports the weight of the saw through it’s angular range and provides exceptional stability for accurate freehand cuts with the long cutting-bar.

By using the top cutting edge of the bar, the chain cutters throw wood chips away from the operator and cut area. This in combination with a large opening in the base plate and the U shaped chain-bar clamp located well behind the upper cutting edge of the chain-bar provide an unobstructed view of the cutting chain as it is applied to the wood.

With the Headcutter, the operator can easily guide the gas powered chain saw to follow a snap-line or scribed arc making it the perfect “Framers” tool for gang cutting racked lumber or beams placed on edge, structural insulated roof panels, etc., beyond the reach of all common portable electric circular saw tools which lack sufficient power, have too small of a saw foot to properly stabilize the long cutting bar or may not have any provision for automatic chain-bar oiling.

We strongly believe the Headcutter is the best most accurate solution to the need for a large diameter saw capable of reaching all the way through large dimension framing material stacked on edge and gang cut square or at a particular roof pitch or degree. Can also be used for cutting, Glue-lams, Mirc-lams, TJI’s, Landscaping lumber, railroad ties, fence posts. and the list goes on.
